Sweet but Spicy

I’ve made a lot of chicken recipes in my time, but one that never fails to taste good is my sweet and spicy grilled chicken. The ingredients are simple and this only takes fifteen minutes to cook, so it’s perfect for a weeknight.  Total Time: 25 minutes  Servings: 1  Ingredients: 

  1. 2 boneless chicken breasts (or thighs) 

  2. 2 tsp. Garlic powder

  3. 2 tsp. Chile powder 

  4. 1 tsp. Paprika 

  5. 1 tsp. Black pepper 

  6. ½ tsp. Red pepper 

  7. ¼ cup of honey 

Steps: 

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. (I use a George Forman grill) 

  2. In a bowl combine all the spices and add chicken to the bowl. 

  3. Toss the chicken until all the seasoning is evenly on both sides of the chicken breasts.

  4. Place the chicken on the preheated grill and cook each side for around 5 minutes. 

  5. Brush one side of the chicken breasts with the honey and cook for another five minutes. Then flip them and use the remaining honey to brush the rest. Cook for an additional five minutes 

  6. Cook the chicken until it’s internal temperature is 165 degrees F. 

  7. Remove chicken off the grill and enjoy!
